PUC Results to be Announced on 8th May 2014

Update - Now expected to be announced on Thursday, 8th May 2014 after 8:30 AM.

Karnataka Second Pre University College [or popularly known as karnataka 2nd puc] results are expected to be announced on 9th May 2014.

There are a total of 3833 Pre University Colleges in Karnataka which includes 1200 govenment, 638 Aided and 1817 Un Aided colleges.

Every year the number of students appearing for the puc exams are increasing , according to statistics around 5,17,000 students appeared for first puc exams and around 4,50,000 students appeared for second puc exams in 2010-11

CET Eligibilty Clauses

Candidates who satisfy one of the following clauses / eligibility criteria only are eligible for selection / allotment of government seats in Government, Aided, Private un-aided Minority / non-Minority institutions through kea. Each condition is specified as a clause and is individually referred by a code. The documents to be produced during verification of documents in support of the claim for each of the Clauses are also detailed below the respective clauses.

CODE ‘A’
The candidate should have studied and passed in one or more Government or Government recognised
educational institutions located in the State of Karnataka for a minimum period of SEVEN academic years
commencing from 1st standard to 2nd PUC / 12th standard as on 1st July of the year in which the Entrance
Test is held and must have appeared and passed either SSLC / 10th standard or 2nd PUC / 12th standard
examination from Karnataka State. In case of the candidate who had taken more than one year to pass a class
or standard, the years of academic study is counted as one year only.

1) SSLC / 10th standard Marks Card,
2) 2nd PUC / 12th standard Marks Card of the candidate,
3) Candidate’s Study Certificate;
4) If claiming Rural quota: – Rural Study Certificate;
5) If claiming Kannada Medium quota: Kannada Medium Study Certificate;

Steps for Submitting JEE 2014 Application Online

Step 1

Fill the Online Application Form, choose your Password, Your security question and answer and note down system generated Application Number.

 

Step 2

  • Upload Scanned Images of Photograph, Signature and Thumb impression in jpg / jpeg format
  • Size of the photo image must be greater than 4 kb and less than 100 kb.
  • Size of the signature and thumb impression image must be greater than 1 kb and less than 30 kb.
  • Dimension of signature image and thumb impression image should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (Height) only.
  • Dimension of photograph image should be 3.5 cm(width) x 4.5 cm(Height) only.

NOTE : The Candidate will be able to modify/correct the particulars before the payment of fees.
